I really DO need a vacation, but it's not going to happen. It continues to amaze me that every time I think I can't get any busier or nothing more can possibly go wrong...fate steps up to the challenge! Eve and Dot are both EXTREMELY round but still happy and active. However, pretty soon their babies will have me hopping.

And as for the pups:

Jack: Honestly. We were stuck in our crates ALL DAY yesterday. Mom and Dad said they had to drive a long way to pick-up a puppy from Auntie Sarah that they will take to the airport next weekend. Big deal. We only got out long enough to eat and potty and have our ears scrtiched before we had to go back to our pens. It sucked. Fortunately, we got up early today and get to stay out all day. I think I'll celebrate by napping.

Gus: Don't get me started on having to stay in my crate ALL DAY. I think Mom should just send Dad on these long drives, but Mom says Dad doesn't take very good care of us when she's gone and she'd rather spend 10 hours on the road than spend the night with her friends and come home to two days worth of dirty dishes and neglected dogs and pens.

Katy: I'm looking for new humans. I can't BELIEVE Mom and Dad left us in our crates all day to go pick-up some dumb puppy for someone else.

Drake: I went in the car with Mom and Dad and I'm staying with Auntie Sarah for a while, which is fine because my beloved Minzy is here and we are honeymooning. My favorite, FAVORITE thing!

Corbin: I don't know why I didn't get to go honeymoon with Minzy. Mom says it's because I'm not the perfect match for her. Nonsense! I'm the perfect match for ANY girl! I didn't get to romance Eve or Dot either, and I expressed my displeasure with the entire situation by hiking my leg in the kitchen. Now I'm wearing that stupid belly band. Maybe if Katy finds new humans they will take me too.

NaNa: I was so excited to see Mom last night I peed all over her. She just laughed at me and said, "Oh, NaNa-Boo-Boo, you can be Bed Buddy tonight. I'm sorry we had to leave you all day." I love being Bed Buddy!

Stephan: I was consigned to purgatory (my pen) all day yesterday. Luckily, when Mom and Dad got home they let me out first...not for long, but I was first! And today I get to stay out all day with the Shih Tzu. They don't like me so I'm mostly hanging-out on the grooming table, but that's OK. I get extra "Mom Time" that way.

Eve: Dot and I got out real early yesterday, but then Mom and Dad were gone until it was dark and we were asleep. When they got home we got out to potty and have hugs but had to go to back to bed pretty fast. Excuse me? I am an Enchanted Fairytale Expectant Mommy Princess! I should be getting ALL the attention. I should also be the Bed Buddy every night.

Dot: Eve and I got out real early yesterday, but then Mom and Dad were gone ALL DAY and just got us out to potty and cuddle before putting us back in our pens. As an Enchanted Fairytale Expectant Mommy Princess, I deserve more! Oh, hold on. Mom just said I can lay on her lap.

Elle: In the pen all freaking day. I just got out for a little while when it was sleeping time, and then I had to get brushed. I'm telling you, the life of a show dog sucks when your parents hit the road for a day. On the other hand, I DO get extra Mom-time every day when I get brushed.

Kirk: I was out early but then Mom and Dad were gone until it was really, really late (Mom said "11:00", whatever that means). I got my dinner really, really late and then had to go back to bed. But today I got to play with the puppy that's visiting and I humped him! That was fun.

Patrick: (the visiting puppy) I had to live in a moving box for HOURS yesterday, and I let these new humans know I wasn't happy about it the entire time. But, once the box stopped moving I got to go in their house, have dinner and explore. They are really pretty nice. They let me play with that BIG dog Kirk this morning and the Auntie-lady told my human Mom Sarah I gave as good as I got. I guess I am going on another trip soon, because Auntie Pam heard from my forever-Mom this morning and assured her she would work with me during the week (I wonder what that means?) and that she'd got a good one and I will be a terrific show dog. It is kinda fun to explore a new place, and Auntie and Uncle give me lots of cuddles.
