TUESDAY 27th September: Foxy boring foxy
Tara:
I want to go mountaineering on holiday again! This is boring. Holidays are exciting and interesting and I have castles to climb!
We went round Foxy park today, and it was sooooooooo dull. See:
Dull (Mum: all those elderberries have been eaten! but who by...?
Dull
Dull. Well, OK, maybe a bit interesting.
This is Jack.
Did I tell you that Jack once cocked his leg on Mum's foot! hahahaha! I probably did. But it is so funny I had to tell you again! hahaha!
He doesn't do it any more. Mum doesn't let him.
The most exciting thing was that we saw George again.
We keep seeing George. He gets 3 walks a day!!!
His Dad stops and talks to Mum, and this time we all had to walk around the park together for ages and ages and ages. George even tried to walk with me! Mum and George's dad talked about boring stuff like retirement and places to walk, and stuff. Cato likes George. Of course. But he isn't William, is he?
Mum:
Tara does sort of have a point. These photos are so much less exciting than our lovely holiday snaps. Sigh. Oh well. There will be another holiday somewhere. Someday. lol.
At least the baby pinecones are still plumping up.
And there are berries EVERYWHERE. The birds should do OK this winter.
I am delighted to announce that one of the roses in the raised bed has survived the massacre, and is valiantly producing a rose bud. Wonderful, eh? I hope it opens magnificently, before the weather hits.
Of course, my prophesy about the weeds has come true.
But the bamboo, phormium and fatsy plants are all doing their best, which is good. See the new growth above the cuts?
The hosta is beginning to die back
