Monday 24th October: HAPPY TWOOTH BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
Tara:
It's my Twooth Birthday! I am Two. That is both front paws, isn't it? While Cato is all old and is nearly all four paws. Front and Back. That is OLD isn't it?
My Dad had to go to work, so we did a nice walk without him, and it woz fun, but it wozn't my Special Birthday Walk. Mum says we can do that in a few days. I am going to get a Special Birthday PINK dinner too! I am sooooo excited!
Today we went to the beach and to the Centre of the Universe. I like that place. Look:
And we met Hettie. She is very little. Well, she is about the same size as me, but thinner and less athletical. But she was nice and we sniffed, and I didn't need to submit at all.
This is Harry the three-quarters ShihTzu and one-quarter Schnauzer, and Bailey the Viszla.
Harry woz nice too. And our Mums spend AGESANDAGES chatting about us, and our noble ancestry roots and trees and stuff. Then Bailey came along and was really funny, lying down like that and wanting to play. He woz too big for me, but Cato wanted to play with him. It was funny!
This is Harry again. His Mum let him off the lead a bit and we all bounced. He is only a year old. That is really YOUNG isn't it? Not at all grown up and clever, like me!
Mum says this train is going backwards and is very little. Aren't trains bigger than this? We went on a train. Do you remember? I wasn't allowed to go and see this one properly, cos Mum thought I would get run over. It made a very funny noise. All hooty.
These people were really nice. But there wozn't room on the bench for me.
Remember all the beach dens? They were all shut up and no one woz around. I went and had a good look, but I couldn't get in.
Can you see Cato's tail? We found something REALLY SNIFFY. But I came when Mum called and I got a treat. Cato didn't. He stayed and sniffed for ages, until Mum had to shout really loud.
Cato says his ears don't work when his nose is working. Is that true?
Haha! I got up here all by myself!
This woz on the way back.
There were mountains and EVERYTHING!
Mum says that is a rainy shower in the distance falling out of that cloud. She made us walk a bit faster!
Mum:
This pic is from the start of the walk.
This pic is from the end of the walk. See how much the weather has come in? and how hard the sea horizon has got? Definitely rain incoming! lol. You should have seen me scuttle.
This last one is from right at the end when the dark clouds had moved in, over the land, and the sky out to sea had lightened. But the skyline was still a hard line.
We got back to the car before the first raindrops!
