Oh goodness!  I hope your Daddy is going to be ok.  I hope his operation goes very well and he recuperates quickly.  I'm sending many prayers for all of you.

I can imagine how scary it will be for you, Missy, but you will be ok.  Your Mommy would never leave you anywhere or with anyone that she doesn't trust.  

We are going to miss you but we will be here when you get back.

Poor Missy, I wish you were closer as I'd take you in for as long as Mommy & Daddy needed!

Thank you all so very much, your love, support and prayers mean the world to us. I have read hubby your posts and he is so very overwhelmed by all of your love and support, it means so much to us both and has really helped his spirits. A great big hug to all from us.

Missy got to go visit the 'hotel' and met the vet owner. he assured her he would take the very best care of her and she could have her own food, the most important thing to her! He also said to give him her routine/ schedule but I don't think he has any idea how high maintenance she can be, I think he'll get the 'condensed' version, I may not afford the bill otherwise!! Lol Missy and I will be around as much as we can, we miss all of you terribly.

Oooh thank you Auntie Jo and Tara and Cato, it's not been a good week for me anyway... See Momma's been trying to do lots of family time and daddy loves the fall so we went for a nice walk, just around here. Well it was a nice walk until this big black dog came outta nowhere and attacked me- it was Awful. Momma was screaming at that dog and daddy was getting ready to hit it with his walking stick when it's dad Finally came. Momma got me up but he still jumped up and grabbed more hair. So momma says I only have to stay at that hotel as short a time as possible cuz I'm already traumatized..  Missy

oh my gosh guys I remembered the post about how to act when your dog gets attacked After it happened so of course I did everything wrong.. I reached in and got her, thankfully there was no blood or breaking of the skin just lots of hair pulled out. But boy is she still skittish even with us and crying out in her sleep. Poor thing, it rattled all of us pretty good, it was totally unprovoked we were just walking on the other side of the street and actually stood still when it came up. So very weird.

Other than that hubby is healing from his first procedure and has his major operation the beginning of Dec. For some reason I don't understand he has to heal from this one first, it's probably because I'm getting hubby's version of the discussion..  So we're taking it one day at a time, some days are better than others for him, and praying for a miracle healing. Many many thanks for all of your support and prayers. Hugs

Vicki, you did the right thing reaching for Missy and to pick her up! Actually there is no rule, you can think of a whole scenario in your head and then it turns out completely different then planned.  It is difficult to get her under you coat right away or so, but that is a possibility or to turn around every time the dog jumps. What a terrible scare that must of been Missy girl.  I am so sorry that taking your nice walk the three of you got all mixed up in this. Thank God you are allright Missy..good thing Mom and Dad were around..
