SUNDAY 4th December: Cold wind, Hot chocolate
Cato: Sorry Aunties, Mum has not been doing her Mum Duty today. She forgot the camera, used her phone, AND she rushed our walk so that she could have a hot chocolate!
It was a nice blue sky today, but really cold. We didn't want to have our jumpers put on, but maybe we should have. We walked all the way to the beach promenade, and then I didn't want to go down on the beach. Cos of Tara's beachy bouncing. And then Tara saw all the big dogs on the beach, and she didn't want to go down there either... so we promenaded instead.
We went up and down, and the wind ruffled our fur, and bit through Mum and Dad's coats. And the sun was really shiny in our eyes. There were even donkeys down on the beach.
And a tree.
I didn't think trees grew on the beach, but Mum says it is a magic floating tree that moves about... it almost makes me want to go down on the beach to sniff it. It must sniff something awesome!
Then when we were all cold and blown about, and sniffed out, Dad said he wanted a coffee. And Mum said she wanted a chocolate just like last time, cos it was the best chocolate ever ever ever.
So we went back to the same place and the same table.
And Dad had obviously been planning this, cos he really likes the coffee too. Cos he had sweetpotato and chicken treats in his pocket! We like them. We like them a lot! Cos he remembered that they just have Bad Gluten Stuff here. So he brought our stuff specially. We love Dad.
And Mum had her special drink which is milky stuff with a blob of dark chocolate on a stick. And the milk makes the chocolate go all melty, and there isn't any sugar. Cos Mum can't eat sugar like I can't eat Gluten. It is very complicated, isn't it?
Anyway, here we are, watching Dad when he went and spoke to Miss Gluten treats.
And this is when Tara was licking her nose, and I was wondering if there were any treats on the table.
And this is when we were both wondering if there were any MORE treats on the table. And there were!!!
