Fri 12th May: Bear Woods after rain
Tara:
So there was no blogging for AGES, on account of Cato being all wimpy in the tummy, and me and Dad going out walking by ourselves. I don't really like it when Cato doesn't come with us. It isn't the same. I keep looking round for him, and he isn't there. Dad didn't take any pics. And then it rained for days! That was REALLY boring.
But then one day Me and Mum and Dad and Cato all went for a Pack Walk in Bear Woods. Dad said things like 'It'll be all muddy soggy.' and 'If it is so muddy that they need a b*th, you are on your own!'. But none of us took any notice. I love my Dad, but he isn't really very... um... mountaineery, is he?
Anyway, it was fab. And it was a bit soggy in places, but we both stayed cleanish, and no B*th!! This bit is a dry bit. You can see me sniffing, looking for mud.
It woz all very green. My purple bow looked very good.
Look wot I found! Mountains!
See! This one has been burneded and is all sniffy and black.
and this path is really sniffy, and exciting. We met some people with a little boy who wanted to meet us. His Mum said he didn't like dogs, but he liked Cato. I stayed well back, but he let Cato kiss him. Mum said sorry, but the other Mum was very happy. She said that was the first time he had let a paw get near him, and the more kisses the better!
So, obviously I had to climb on them all, and Cato didn't even try!
and look! there is another mountain in the distance.
Cato says this is horsepoo. Not donkeypoo. Or ponypoo. Or anythingelsepoo.
I don't know how he knows, but it was very sniffy, and we didn't eat any. Honest.
Do you like my dried leaf fascinator? Mum said that it clashed with my bow, but Mum is just a spoilsport sometimes!
This is near the end when Cato was going all wimplyfloppy on account of his tum. So Dad said we needed a sit down and some refresherments.
I didn't mind, cos I could climb on the bench, and have a drink and some treats. Also, I could see some Pugs coming. I like pugs. I want a pug. but I like to be taller that they are.
They were OK, although I think Mum gave them one of my treats! But they didn't pee upside down, so that woz disappointing!
