I found a BONE

Cato:

I found a BONE.  It is very very big.  And it is all MINE.

Mum has been messing with bones up at the top of the kitchen.  Something to do with drying them slowly so they don't go too stinky (Mum: using dehydrator and venison ribs) and today, when I was coming in from my mid morning Garden Patrol, I saw it.

In the middle of the kitchen floor.

It is ENORMOUS.

It was difficult to carry.

But I couldn't leave it there for Tara to find.

So I picked it up and half carried and half dragged it over to my bed, and settled down to eat it ALL!

Tara wants it.  She keeps staring.  But she can't have it.  It is MINE.

There is another bone on the kitchen floor if she wants that.  But it is littler and not nearly as good as MY bone.  So she doesn't want it.

My bone is DELICIOUS.

We went away, Aunties.  For two days and two nights, and I dreamt of my bone waiting for me at home.

And when we got home, there it was.

I had a little sleep first, cos the car journey is tiring, and I didn't get my usual morning nap, or my afternoon snooze, but I will be ready for my bone very soon.  It is sooooo delicious.

The only thing is, I want to chew my bone on Mum's lap, and Mum keeps saying 'No Cato, take that onto the floor.  Bones don't go on laps.' :(

Cato, you sound like my husband when there is something special at home......"can't wait for some of those Brownies/Chocolate Chip cookies/French Apple Pie".

Our first Boxer Katie loved nothing more than sitting on her Dad's lap while he held a slimey chewey for her.......eyes closed, completely relaxed except for those gnawing muscles.

Mama can put a towel in her lap maybe so you can sit there and chew on your bone

Cato:

not long enuff!

Mum had this horrible Mum Habit of sniffing my bones - just as they get lovely and stinky -- and STEALING them. :(
