Dawn 0
I would like to purchase something to take my Chopper with me sort of 'conspicuously' but comfortably for him.. He's a Shih-tzu/Maltese mix, he weighs about 8 or 9 lbs.. I already have a 'sherpa' carrier, but that's way too big and obvious for me to 'sneak' him around, if you know what I mean.. I wanted to get something where he has mesh panels to see out, but not too obvious.. Has anyone purchased anything like this that they love and use all the time??!!!! I don't wanna leave my boy home any more than I have to!
Sunlite 9,105
My girls are too big for these little carriers although if they were smaller like your's I'd go for it. I have seen people with them and their dogs are fine with it .
ShihtzuBeauty 47
Taffy I could put in one but not Eve, my little piggy! She's about 17lbs. now and you know you can't take one w/out the other! :baby:
JannW 0
I've been looking to buy one too! I'm not sure if I'll be able to carry Gabrielle around that much when she's full grown, but I thought I could for sure this summer. The vet guesses her full grown weight will be 14 lbs... hmmm... think that's too big? Most of the bags say they can carry up to 20 lbs... wowzers... maybe the bag can handle it... but can I? lol These are ones I've been looking at... let me know your thoughts This one I really like, but I'm not sure if it's big enough! Sunlite 9,105
Hmm, they're all pretty cute but the top 2 are my favs. I agree that the last one is adorable but may not be large enough.
ShihtzuBeauty 47
If mine would sit in them I would love to have one, none of them even like my backpack. I like the first one, it's not only fashionable but it looks comfy!
Lilly 0
I really shouldn't be looking at this thread.. I'm better off not knowing
BusterBoo 4
Sam.....you sound like you really need to stay away from the stores....or the puppy stores! It's ok....give it a week or two and you can go back to SHOPPING!!!!

JannW 0
lol... you guys are funny! lol... Gabrielle really enjoyed being carried around the Famers Market this weekend, but my arm was falling asleep and it wasn't super comfy looking for her! The first three you can buy from petedge.com and the last one I found on ebay Happy shopping girls Hmmm.... I wonder if anyone carries around these *big* guys oh, and this is what it says (for the top green/straw one) about the large size.... Large measures 17 5/8"L x 8 1/2"W x 14 1/2"H and olds pets up to 22 lbs Do you think a 14 lb tzu would fit in that ok?
*Dede* 2
I can't help you there cause Cricket is to heavy for me to carry. Cricket wieghs around 13 to 15 lbs. Way too heavy to carry in a little purse carrier. I think that is why I wanted a tiny teacup Yorkie the little 1-2 pounders so I can get a carrier bag for it. But can't afford a tiny teacup yorkie but keep on wishing But I love my Tzu and I am happy with her...
Lilly 0
I'm not sure if that will be big enough.. as much as I'd love to have it, maybe even he would get too hot in this climate.. must resist!! lol I could ask the breeder how big his dad was.. noooooooo must resist!! lol
