Guess the breed/mix

Recommended Posts

I just received info on these male puppies who need to be re-homed ASAP.

I'm trying to get them into the toy breed rescue I work with.

I don't have much experience in identifying "fluffy toy breeds".

Can I have some suggestions on what they might be?

It's hard to tell with young puppies. But the one on the right looks like maybe some terrier in the mix?

It's possible for puppies in the same litter to have different sires.

Same response. Terrier mix

The one on the left reminds me of Shih Tzu mix

Yep - me too. Yorkie and Shih "in there" along with who knows what.

Would love to see Mama and the rest (if there is) of the litter.

But such is rescue........ya never know and they ARE PUREBRED CUTE!

I agree with the possibility of the one on the right having some yorkie in her, mainly because to the ears.

Do you know how big they are?

Are they supposed to be brothers?

Yes - they are supposed to be brothers. Some young woman brought them "home" and her boyfriend's Mom said she can't keep them. Just one of the many, many all too common reasons why puppies/dogs get dumped in a shelter or given away "free to a good home" shortly after they arrive at what is supposed to be a new home :-(

But you already knew that.......grrrr

"Some kind of Terrier-mix", period. They don't need a fancy "designer dog" name to get a good home.
